I love to make packages pretty. I find that if I have a few wrapping items on hand all the time. I can easily wrap for any occasion.
Kraft paper. I have a huge roll and I’m certain it will last me many years. I use it for birthday gifts and Christmas gifts. We do projects on it. I use it as a runner on tables. You can cover the floor when painting, and so much more!
Ribbon. I LOVE ribbon! I have a basket full of all kinds and colors. Over the years, I have purchased vintage seam binding in large rolls and I love it for bows. It’s very flexible so it’s super easy to tie! Grosgrain and double faced satin are two other favorites!
Twine. It’s such a simple things but it adds that rustic and natural element. I use my twine all the time as you see here on the blog. I have several kinds. I like options!
Washi tape. This is a new addition to my craft collection but I fit it super handy and there are so many pretty tapes out there! Add it to the Kraft paper for any occasion and it’s great to secure tags or keep bags closed.
Cardstock. White is nearly always my first choice so I can make tags. Handwritten or stamped.
Sharpie. I love the metallic for gift giving and a good ole’ black Sharpie is my main go to.
A hole punch. I use this nearly every day!
Kraft of glassine bags. Great for small items and it’s so quick, just pop your gift in and close it up with some cute tape or pretty ribbon.
Scissors and tape!
Natural elements like these darling, little wreaths . They would look lovely on larger packages.
