So you know all those gorgeous pots you see? I love them all but I’m not so in love with their price tags so when I saw these pots at Dollar Tree the other day (I was buying tablecloths for a picnic my son’s class is having next month) I knew I could turn them into something better. I went back today and picked up a couple knowing exactly how I would pretty them up! Paint! A big thank you to Amy Howard who provided me with the paint to complete this project. I used their one step Chalk Paint in Linen. More chalk paint projects in the works!
These aren’t really large so if you’re in need of something medium size then these will work great. No prep needed just open the can, stir and paint away. I did a quick two coats. I didn’t get too fussy and left the bottom of the inside unpainted since they’d be filled with the plants.
I’m so happy with the way these turned out. Aren’t they pretty?
I used my new pots for my Monrovia plants, more to come on those next week and where I used them. *Sponsored post next week. Here’s a sneak peek until then.
