Target vs. Young Living

Over the years I’ve heard a lot of people say that Young Living is expensive. I guess initially it can seem that way. Read on!

YL vs Target

Honestly, our health is super important to me. Last summer was an eye opener for us. Some of you might know that we had a medical situation in my immediate family, my daughter then 17 was diagnosed with a DVT, a blood clot. It seems the good health I had often taken for granted was shattered at that moment. I had a lot of time to think about things and it confirmed the road I had headed down — using more natural products was a good one. Our health should be our number one priority. Thankfully, she came through it and she has adjusted to her new normal.

Some things are clearly beyond our control BUT I do have control over what’s in our homes and the products we chose to buy. I’ve also realized that I’m totally ok if people think I’m nutty with my weird little oils. Yep, it’s A-ok with me. You know why? All the chemical filled junk we once used it’s gone! I’m not just trying to sell you something, Nope! I want to share what I have learned. Kind of hard to keep quiet when you have something so good in your life!

You are welcome to come on over to my house look through our cupboards, under my sink, in my bathroom, on my kitchen island, my nightstand you’ll see evidence of my oily journey in just about every room.

I decided to do a little comparison. I’ve had people say they would like to do ER (essential rewards our monthly wellness box) but can’t spend $50 or $100 a month. Or that they don’t know what they would order. You might be surprised by what you see! And if you fully embrace making this lifestyle there is always something you can change out. And things that need to be replaced!

All these items can be found on the Target website. Some items like the vitamins had counts that would last longer than one month (of course depends on home many people are using etc.). I tried to keep the adjustments as equitable as possible to keep things REAL!

Target run:
Window cleaner $3.09
Toilet cleaner $1.99
Cleaning wipes $4.99
Vitamins (3 kinds) $23.87
Pain reliever $5.69
Scented candle $15.49 (7 0z candle)
Room spray/solid fresheners $4.95
Hand & body lotion $15.29
Flavored water $12
Blush $7.79
Toothpaste $6.99
Total $102.14

Discount for using Target card (5%)  $5.10
———————————————–

Young Living:
Thieves cleaner (half a bottle) $11.25
Super B, Super C. Kids Vitamins $$34.28
Thieves toothpaste $10.90
Genesis body lotion $21.00
Savvy blush $27.75
Ningxia Zing $35.75
Already at home
Oils in the kit for pain, room sprays, candles.
Total $140.93

Discount for ordering on ER $28.18
(20%) which is what you get after the first three months.
**Plus the 100 level freebie. Value varies.
————————————————-,

This is just an example of what I shop for and what I use instead. Each month I change my order based on our needs.

Target $97.04 vs. Young Living $112.75*
*(freebie value varies so I did not take that into account).

In reality how much more it is? Hmmm not much if any *(freebie)

AND you aren’t using all that junk!

Makes a pretty good case doesn’t it?

Worth it? 🤔

I think so! 😀

Are you ready to do something great for yourself and your family? Want to work from home, run your own business and help people join you on this journey?

Click here to grab your starter kit and let do this!  The pretty new diffuser comes in the kit now, you’ll love it!

Diffuser, 11 oils, Not pictured – Product guide, Thieves cleaner sample (the best!!), Ningxia drink samples (my daily staple), + a few other goodies!!
