Our family hosts Thanksgiving many years. I love to find pretty ways to personalize without too much time or money. Today I’ve got Painted Pinecone Place Card Holders to share with you!
You’ll need:
Pinecones
Gold or Silver Paint Pen
Cardstock or Tags
If you have more time you can certainly spray paint the pinecones, but if you are doing this in ten minutes the paint pen is the way to go. It dries quickly so it can go from craft room to table in minutes.
I tried to pick pinecones that stand up nicely. I painted on the bits that you can see until I was happy with them. I used the same pen to personalize the cards. I get the faux calligraphy effect from going over the down strokes more than once. Place in your pinecone and add to your place setting.
