Instead of making a pie I thought I’d make individual servings for dessert. I just wanted to do something different and make it special, a treat! I did apple-raspberry, I love the combination!
I sliced three apples and one pint of raspberries. I added two tablespoons of sugar and a dash of salt. I buttered the ramekins and filled with the mixture. I used my round cutter to cut circles from the pie crust and topped each one with a crust. The bigger ramekin got two! I sprinkled with sugar and baked for about 40 minutes at 425 degrees.
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel.
