Easter Brunch.

No Fuss Chocolate Pie

Tomorrow is National Pi Day and I’m baking for school, they are celebrating in math class. This is the easiest Pie in the world to make!       Makes two chocolate pies.   One box of pie crusts (2), I said it was easy!   Three boxes of instant chocolate pudding   Three cups heavy cream   Three cups milk (I use skim)

Home Sweet Home. Menu.

It snowed here the last couple of days. It was that pretty snow that sticks to the trees and covers everything. This is what I see while I’m in the kitchen, it’s beautiful! Homemade Glaze Donuts.

Recipe Adapted from Barefoot Contessa, Foolproof. I made several changes to the recipe, mine is as follows. Donuts: 2 cups flour 1 cup sugar 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp kosher salt 1 egg 1 1/4 mix of half-n-half & skim milk 2 tsp vanilla 2 tbs melted butter Glaze: powdered sugar half-n-half & milk I just mixed these until I got a nice consistency

Thai Meatballs, Fried Rice & Spicy Sauce for Dipping.

Homemade Honey Oat Bread

I found this beautiful bread recipe on Pinterest and knew I had to try it. It takes a little time but well worth the effort, it’s amazing!
