Welcome to our April 10 minute decorating! This month our theme is decorating with mason jars.
I can’t wait until I can run out the garden and cut fresh herbs for cooking! For the time being I decided to create an indoor herb garden using mason jars and a vintage milk carrier.
Four mason jars
Four herbs of your choice. I bought Rosemary, Cilantro, Flat-leaf parsley, Basil.
Plant one herb in each jar.
Add jars to your milk carrier and place in a sunny spot. I added a tag with twine to each jar (see photo 1).
The carrier is perfect when you need to water you can just pick it up and put it right in your sink to water. A wood box or tray would be pretty too.
The individual herb jars would make sweet favors for a shower or party. When the weather gets warm enough you can transplant them to your garden!
I created a faux flower arrangement using a mason jar recently. You can see how I made it here.
Be sure to visit my blog friends and see how they used mason jars to decorate! Thank you so much for visiting Love of Home.
