I love Fall, can’t you tell? I bought Indian corn from the farm stand to make something for the front door. In the end, I put in next to the door under our house number, it shows up nicely there! You could make these as a Fall hostess gifts, for party favors or as a little thinking of you for a friend!
Here’s how I put it together. I like to do things in threes so I started there. I picked three that I liked together and arranged them with the center one in front.
I used some jute twine to tie them together at the base of the husks.
I wanted to embellish just a little so I added a few of the burlap leaves I used on my pumpkins. I wired them right to the jute bow.
I used burlap ribbon tied around the back and twisted it together, it gives it a bit of a braided look. I added it to my hook and it’s done!
Super simple and inexpensive (2 for under $6). I love projects like this.
The one I’m giving as a gift I added a little Fall tag to. I hole punched the corner and tied it on with more jute.
I have some news to share later this week about a new monthly feature I’ll be starting in October and a new Contributor spot I’m starting next month too! If you’re enjoying my blog please feel free to pass it along to your friends, co-workers or family that might enjoy it as well! Thank you all for spending a few minutes with me!
