It’s prom time and I thought I’d try my hand at making a boutonniere. This will be our first go around with the prom! The kids sure do grow up fast.
I went to Trader Joe’s and picked up some flower for a little gift. I took a couple stems from the bunch to make a test run boutonniere.
Super simple to do and you can easily change up the traditional carnation or rose boutonniere.
You’ll need just a few simple supplies.
A pin with the pearl head.
Cut your flowers to about 4″.
Arrange them so you are happy with the way they look.
Wrap with florist tape to keep together.
Tie ribbon around the tape and you’re done!
I love trying new things! Stop by tomorrow for our ten minute decorating May edition! Thank you for stopping at Love of Home!!
