Recipe Adapted from Barefoot Contessa, Foolproof.
I made several changes to the recipe, mine is as follows.
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 1/4 mix of half-n-half & skim milk
2 tsp vanilla
2 tbs melted butter
half-n-half & milk
I just mixed these until I got a nice consistency to dunk the donuts.
I bought my donut pan here (I should have gotten 2!)
My recipe made 14 donuts.
Next time I’m going to cut back the sugar even more, they were still very sweet. I may try condensed milk in place of half of the milk.
Still have one sick kiddo at home, hopefully we’ll be out of the woods soon!
