Do you make your own stock? I do but not all the time.
Here is how I make chicken stock. I used this recipe for making the stock for the Lemon Rice Chicken soup.
3 quarts of water
two carrots in chunks
two celery stalks in chunks
Handful of whole peppercorns
Six sprigs of parsley
One package of organic chicken wings (you can use the chicken bones from your cooked chicken if you want).
One onion cut in chunks.
Simmer for at least two hours.
