I hope this finds you well! Do you ever struggle with gift ideas? Me too! Sometimes you just want something to jump out at you, right?
These pretty little handmade soaps are SOOOO easy! You won’t believe it!
Pair with a sweet knitted cotton face cloth. You can knit one up if you like or purchase one like these!
Here is what you’ll need:
Soap base, one pound made 10 bars. I used an organic one but there are lots to pick from!
Mold(s)*See note below
The rectangular bars I used raw honey about 2 TBSP for 4 bars and 6-8 drops of lavender and less than half a pound of soap base.
For the flower soaps, six bars I used Pine and Citrus Fresh about 6 drops of each and little over half a pound of the soap base.
Cut the base into cubes and put in a microwave safe bowl.
Heat at 20-second intervals until all the base is melted.
Stir in honey and oils.
Pour into molds, let set.
*The silicone molds are well worth the small investment. The plastic molds were tough to get the bars out of.
