I have partnered with Raymour & Flanigan for this post. I have received product in exchange for this post.
I’m working on pulling together our family room update. Later in the post I’ll show you how I made this!
For now, I’ll share the pieces I chose, the Bellina sofa. The shape and size were very similar to the sofa I had previously.
I loved the nailhead trim detail.
And the matching Bellina loveseat. Initially I thought I wanted a sectional but I fell in love with these pieces and knew they would go perfectly with the room and the fresh farmhouse feel I was going for.
Today as part of my prep for my reveal I made my handwriting into art.
You need a few simple supplies and you’re ready to go!

I bought a 16 x 16″ canvas from Joann’s with my 40% coupon and then I got another 25%off. I think I paid $6.
I found this jumbo Sharpie with the chisel tip at Office Depot.
I first practiced what I wanted to write on paper a few times.
Then I drew out the lettering on the canvas in pencil.
Go over with your Sharpie. Angle the tip and it gives you the thick lines.
See, easy right?
I can’t wait to share our new family room with you!
I’m still deciding where my new artwork will go!
Next week I’ll have the full room reveal.
Be sure to visit my sponsor Raymour & Flanigan. They have been a pleasure to work with. My new pieces are just beautiful!
