Family Room Reveal

I have partnered with Raymour & Flanigan and I have received product in exchange for this post. All opinions are mine alone.

I share our family room makeover. Love of Home

Love of Home Family Room Makeover. Love of Home.

We renovated our home 12 years ago and the family room was part of that project.

It’s really been the heart of our home since.

I wanted it to be comfortable and livable.

Fireplace wall. Love of Home

It’s used every day for pretty much everything including basketball!

We had a red sofa and loveseat but the furniture was starting to wear and I have been slowly moving to a lighter color palette.

If you saw my post last week you saw the sofa and loveseat I picked.

Farmhouse Family Room. Love of Home

It’s classic and comfortable.

The nailhead trim goes perfectly with the finishes on the fixtures in both the family room and the kitchen which are open to each other.

Each of the pieces came with pillows that I was able to customize.

Family Room. Love of Home

I was able to choose the fabric on the sofa as well.

I love the way the room turned out!

Family room redo. Love of Home

It still has the comfortable feel we are accustomed to it’s fresh and updated.

I love that Raymour & Flanigan has a Platinum Protection Plan you can get so that if you stain the pieces (no pet damage) they will replace them!

Family room makeover. Love of Home

I think the only left on my list to do is to replace the two fixtures over the island.

Kitchen Love of Home.

When we were picking all the details out I had two young children and one on the way so life was a little crazy.

All in all, I still love the kitchen.

I love having shelves for my cookbooks.

Kitchen Island Love of Home

I’ll share a few more photos of my accessories and where you can find them in the near future.

Thank you to my amazing sponsor Raymour & Flanigan!

I hope your week is off to a great start and I’ll be back Wednesday with the creative DIY bloggers.

Until then!

Susan

What color and brand paint did you use for your family room. I have used Kiln Beige and I am finding I want a lighter paint color. Your family room and kitchen is very comfortable and I am sure you enjoy cooking and being apart of what is going on in the area where the beautiful sofa’s are.
