Welcome! I’m so happy you’re here if you’re new to Love of Home I hope you enjoy your visit and stay awhile!
We love Christmas around here and where better to spend Christmas than the snow capital of the world? My fellow Buffalonians can relate.
Having our friends and family over is especially nice during the holidays. Laid back gatherings to catch up and spend time with those we love.
You don’t have to wait until the house is perfect and you’ve created a gourmet meal.
This is the first year our family is not hosting Christmas day so I am keeping things super simple this holiday season.
That includes the decorating! I went for fresh greens and simple holiday touches and a tree with all our favorite ornaments.
When things get too cluttered it makes me feel out of sorts. I tend to edit on the side of less is more and it works for me.
My tip is to embrace whatever style that makes you happy!
On a trip to Trader Joe’s I picked up everything you need for a nice night at home with family or friends and some awesome decor items too!
Some easy to put together things to pick on and drinks that can be served to both children and adults (with additions!).
I love adding fresh cranberries for a pretty addition to any drink.
I like to make a tray of goodies that can be easily moved to the family room.
We can all sit around and relax.
I love fruit and cheese. Add some water crackers and a cute little crunchy snack like the little trees I found.
It’s all about the company you don’t have to fuss to enjoy it. If you have more time put some hot appetizers in that you can make ahead of time.
I’ve got a Christmas tour post on Tuesday where I’ll be sharing my holiday decor and WednesChristmasistmast edition of 10-Minute Decorating so be sure to stop back or subscribe to get my posts delivered to your inbox.
