Seriously, this is the EASIEST chunky throw ever!! Yep, it’s a good ole’ DIY.
I LOVE this project because anyone can make it. You don’t need to know anything about knitting!

AND instead of arm knitting, it’s hand knit so you can walk away from the project if need be.
Grab some super chunky yarn. I used two shades of gray just to changes things up a little!
I actually prefer this method because you can make the knit tighter.
I started with 30 stitches across and used 9 skeins of yarn total. The finished blanket measures 50″ x 65″.
I purchased the yarn at Michael’s any SUPER chunky yarn should work! I love this one and you’d need less skeins than the one I used, might be my next project.
The main thing is to keep the loops all about the same size so your blanket will be consistent.
