I’ve been on a bit of kick with the letter “D” lately. Our gallery wall has a few now, the bath has one and I made one for the soon to be newly painted powder room. You’ll need a wood letter, scrapbooking paper or wallpaper, Modge Podge, foam brush and sanding block.
Cut pretty close to your line leaving a bit extra.
Add a layer of Modge Podge to the front of the letter and press your cut paper down leaving a little over the edges.
Press down really well, once dried using the sanding block and press against the edge and go front to back until the excess paper comes off. Don’t go back and forth, just front to back and then pickup and to that until the excess comes off. You’ll have a perfect clean edge.
You can add a layer of Modge Podge over the top if you want. It will dry clear and protect the paper.
