It’s been a blur of a couple weeks here.
Just trying to hold down the fort. You know how it is, right?
Kids practices, games and school activities, company and housework. (Darn that housework!).
Today I’ve got a simple way to make your home smell great naturally!
I’ve got an easy DIY room and linen spray that only uses a few ingredients and take just a couple minutes!
This is another SIMPLE way you can get the toxins out of your home. No fake scents or chemicals here.
You’ll need a glass spray bottle.
Distilled water, easy to find at the grocery store. I buy a couple gallons and keep it in the pantry.
Essential oils, lavender and lemon.
Vodka, we don’t drink Vodka but we have received bottles as gifts over the years so I happened to have vanilla Vodka already so I used that. I’ve seen recipes that use rubbing alcohol but after some reading I decided that rubbing alcohol may not be the best thing to add.
Another note, I’ve also seen recipes with just the water and oils but I read that the vodka helps to mix the ingredients better and dry quicker.
For a 4oz Room Spray
Mix two TBSP of the vodka and 8 drops of each of the oils then add the distilled water until the bottle is filled.
You can adjust the oils as you like!
I’m planning on making room sprays as gifts for Christmas and I think I’ll try them in a Christmas scent too!
Here are the resources for the products used.
