I love all the antlers you see in the magazines but if you notice they aren’t exactly cheap. I looked all over for something I could mount and paint myself but I couldn’t find a thing. If you happen to have a source for inexpensive antlers please share it with me! In an attempt to get that visual I created antlers on canvas.
I cut adhesive vinyl in the desired designs and adhered to a new white canvases. It’s super clean and simple. I love the way they turned out. I thought gold with be fun with the rustic antlers. For the larger one, I decided on a monochromatic head and antlers on the white canvas. I plan to use both in the powder room when it finally gets painted!
I got the canvas for the larger one, 8″ x 10″ from Hobby Lobby two in a package with coupon on my phone for $2.60. The smaller one I had. It measures 5″ x 7″. I’m pretty sure that was from Joann’s. Two cute pieces of artwork for under $10. I have another cute Wall art DIY to share soon. You guessed, it’s also for the powder room. Maybe I should stop making things for the walls and paint?
One last thing…You may have noticed that I have a new Facebook icon on my social media bar ————–> If you are on FB and would stop by and “like” my page that would be awesome! See you soon.
