I’ve got an easy way to arrange flowers and make you look like a pro! Be sure to read to the end of the post (there’s a giveaway).
Since I’m part of the wonderful bHome community I was asked if I would try this nifty tool for flower arranging called Budable and of course, I said yes. Don’t know what bHome is? It’s a free App available here. You can follow all your favorite bloggers in one place. Join the nearly 1,100 people who follow Love of Home on the App.
You’ll need a bunch of your favorite flowers, a vase, shears and a Budable. Stretch your Budable over your container. I used my grandmother’s silver-plated sugar bowl for some sparkle. Cut your flowers to the desired length and fill some or all of the openings until you are happy with the arrangement. I actually filled it with water after I was done and it worked perfectly. I love that Budable is reusable so you can use it over and over again!
Here are my favorite tips for flower arranging. I like to use all one color when I have a small container. Assuming I can find a bunch that I like, that’s my first choice when picking flowers. Make sure you give each stem a fresh cut even if it’s a small one, it helps to keep them fresh longer. Keep the stems in water, add as necessary. Lastly, think outside the box when it comes to containers, it doesn’t have to be a traditional vase.
