50 Things I’d Tell My Younger Self

I hope there something here that will help you, make you smile or you can relate to.

Truth be told I’m still working on some of these.

50 things

Here are 50 things I would tell my younger self.

Love yourself.

Don’t worry so much about what other people think.

Be true to who you are.

Don’t look for someone else to make you happy.

Don’t worry about the hair eventually it will go out of style.

Never stop learning.

Focus on school.

Work hard.

Save your money.

Travel more.

Worry less.

Always be kind.

Listen to your parents.

Find a job you love.

Go to graduate school.

Shoot for the stars.

Go to church.

Pray more.

Don’t worry about that guy he will ask you out in the future when you won’t care anymore.

Be a good friend.

Count your blessings always.

Learn how to make Nane’s pizzelles and Grandma’s dressing.

Don’t be afraid to be alone, it all works out.

You’ll be happy you were nice in high school!

Don’t stop creating.

Learn to cook.

The best way is God’s way.

Make a point to stay close to those you love. They won’t be here forever.

Keep skiing!

Listen to the stories. Someday you’ll wish you could hear them again.

It’s not your job to make everyone happy.

Say no more.

It’s ok if someone doesn’t like you for no apparent reason, it’s one of the mysteries of life and it will never change.

People will talk, let them.

Mind your own business. Best that way.

Keep an open mind.

There are two sides to every story no matter how much you think you know.

Don’t be afraid all the time. Sometimes you gotta just go for it.

Push yourself.

You can do it.

You have gifts that no one else has.

Forgive yourself and others.

Be compassionate, everyone is fighting a battle we know nothing about.

Buy the flowers.

You are enough.

Jesus loves you, just like Dad said.

You’ll screw up. Learn from it and move on.

Take care of your body, you only get one.

Love the Lord with all your heart.

What would you tell your younger self?

Much love,

Susan

I learned at an early age there are no such things as heroes. All people are flawed including myself.
