I kind of like the idea of starting over. I think a clean slate has some appeal, don’t you?
I really tried to make the last 90 days count so I could swing into the new year with some momentum. One of my big goals for this year is to provide value to you when you visit. By that, I mean that you gain something when you visit and leave with a little nugget of inspiration to take with you. Some days maybe it’ll be a recipe or a tip to make your life easier, something to inspire you, something to motivate you or something to help you.
The ideas for sharing with you have shifted since you all started visiting me here a few years back. I still love to make our home pretty it’s just I need more and I’m hoping maybe you do too? So I’m working on a series of posts that I hope will get you off to a great start and then keep you going through 2019.
Did you all know I work as a Virtual Assistant? I started in the Fall and work for a wonderful girl who is a boss mom. It’s been so fun learning and adding to my list of unconventional skills. I plan to keep doing that, along with the blog and my oils team. I also have plans to dust off my camera and do some photography on the side. For now, I’ll stick to senior pictures and family sessions. I’ll be adding a photography page soon once I get my portfolio together. Of course, wellness and running will be staples this coming year.
As the years pass I realize how important taking care of yourself is and I want to share the ways I do that with you so you can do the same. Life is hard enough without being sick. There are lots of easy ways to incorporate wellness into your daily life. It’s really just a matter of changing your habits which in theory sounds easy but as we know it’s difficult. I’ll share some simple ideas that might help. Also, books! I love reading and learning so of course, I’ll share my favorites!
So what do you have planned for the New Year? Did you write down your dreams? Did you set some goals? Do you remember when I shared how I plan my week? Check out my Sunday planning post. Go grab a cute composition book, planner (this is the exact one I use- different cover) and sticky notes. I like the ones with the lines too! Do you all use a planner? If I didn’t have it all written down my kids would miss everything! Get all your ideas down and I’ll see you next week!
ps. If you don’t follow me on Instagram head over and join me there! I post every day and I am loving Instastories! I finally added all my icons for “highlights” so come see!
