Ten minute meal? Yes! This was a delicious and healthy dinner I made in 10 minutes flat! Perfect for those nights when you literally have 10 minutes to cook and feed the kids before you run out the door. Stir-fry is perfect for this type of quick meal and when you buy the precut/washed veggies it’s super quick!
So you’ll need a few things:
Minute rice, makes as much as you need for your family. I find two cups is perfect for the five of us.
Large container of stir-fry veggies. I got mine at Trader Joe’s for around $6.
Sesame & Canola oil
Cook rice according to directions should take about 7 minutes total.
Add Canola oil to large hot frying pan. Add cleaned veggies and stir for a minute or two. Add a couple drops of sesame oil (it’s a strong flavor so a few drops goes a long way), add about half a bottle of oyster sauce, a couple TBSP of Hoisin sauce and soy to taste. Stir until all veggies are coated in sauce about 2-3 more minutes.
Serve over rice!
