I’ve spent a lot of time in the house lately. I’m cleaning and organizing and changing things around a little. I made a few changes to the china cabinet. It’s a simple color palette of white and brown, I love the contrast. The tobacco baskets are a newer addition. I moved my the set of chairs that belonged to my grandparents on either side and added the white wood “D” I found on clearance. I love the rustic letter against the formal paper.
The table got a good dusting and I aded a group of candles. I’ve read that odd numbers of things look better so I settled on 5. The woven burlap mat I made from jute furniture webbing. I added two different brown pillows to the white slipcovered chairs and I left the burlap ribbon from Christmas.
It’s simple and uncluttered. The sun was shining today which makes me so happy! I’m still working on the other half of my living room. Here’s a peek, I got my new rug from Wayfair as part of their Homemaker’s program. I found this super cute coffee table at Target that was calling my name. I did not buy it but I think it would be perfect. What do you think? (Taken on my phone).
I found this super cute coffee table at Target that was totally calling my name. I didn’t buy it but I think it would be perfect. What do you think? (Taken on my phone). The price was $84 on sale from $99. The tag was for something on the shelf above, otherwise I would have the table in my house.
What projects are you working on? Winter is such a great time to clean and organize. I never feel bad about staying in all day!
