Pinecones are so plentiful here. It’s such a great time to collect them and keep them for all your projects. I have bags of them in the basement when inspiration strikes. They can be used in so many ways. Here are a three of my favorite pinecone projects from my old blog Hometown Girl. I love these projects, all can be made for just a couple of dollars.
Pretty Pinecones. After one of my many trips to Pottery Barn (many for inspiration) I decided I would make my version and give them to my girlfriends as gifts.
I spray painted them in parts and let them dry, I added some glitter and packaged them in clear bags with hand stamped tags. The tags are from an estate sale I wish I had more of these they are so pretty. Then your recipients can use them to decorate.
I added some of the glittered pine cones to my jute wreath. This is a styrofoam wreath wrapped in a thick jute. Then I added the hand-stamped tags and ribbon.
