Today I want to share the concept of Sunday prep with you.
Over the years I have heard different ideas about cooking a bunch of food on Sunday for meals during the week.
The idea of Sunday prep is similar.
It’s cooking up things in the fridge so they are ready to use as components and using up things you already have before they go bad.
Those browning bananas turn into banana bread, a quick one bowl brownies for lunches.
The head of cauliflower into a side dish.
The apples that you have an ample supply of, make applesauce!
You get the idea.
Then you have things on hand for breakfast, snacks, lunches or components of dinner.
I spent about two hours making different dishes that we could enjoy in the coming week.
What’s your favorite tip for prepping food for the week?
