It’s 10 Minute decorating today, Summer edition!
I’ve got a super project that makes a big impact and it’s fast! Recovering chair seats!
I’ve been working on the porches here.
Freshening things up. I have a little bistro set from my grandmother. It was in her screened in garage for years.
I recovered the old chair seats several times already but they were in need of a new cover again. The green and yellow is the original! The tag on the back had dates back to the 1930’s.
I purchased 1/2 yard of fabric to do both chairs.
A heavy duty staple gun makes this a breeze.
Just flip the pad over and start on one side and pull and then to the opposite side. This gives you a good start then you can make your way around in whatever order you like.
Making your way around and smoothing the edges as you go.
The cost for this little refresh was about $6 (fabric was on sale).
I can’t wait to show you the porches all done.
I’ll be sharing the front and back this and next week!
