Good morning! Today I have my mini powder room makeover to share with you. With one can of paint and a few fresh accessories the room feels so different! It’s bright, fresh and feels bigger. Even the kids noted how it seems larger. I’m always amazed that a paint color can do that! Our before was a dark red so this was a real change and a great excuse to stop at Home Goods to pick up a few coordinating accessories. I got a rug, a toothbrush/paste holder, two pretty hand towels and a new soap dispenser. All for under $40! I even got the paint 40% off at Sherwin Williams. I used the Accessible Beige. I’m still debating the antler artwork….I think I’m going to look for a little sign or wire basket. I covered the light switch and outlet covers with the scrapbooking paper I used on the “D” I made. Funny how I found a rug that looked a lot like that pattern! i used the exact same method to cover the switch plate that I used to make the Paper Covered D. Update!! I found the pretty picture of the trees at Hobby Lobby, half off! The gold ties in really nice to the fixtures.
