I love this time of year, strawberry picking, desserts, & homemade jam! The freezer jam is my favorite, it’s quick, delicious and you can have it all year round. It makes wonderful gifts too! Until next time, Susan
I love this time of year, my peonies are in full bloom! They just make me smile. We spent a few hours in the yard this weekend and I made a perfect porch sandwich (according to my husband!). Whole grain bread, avocado, arugula, honey roasted turkey with a chili garlic mayo (mix a little mayo with chili garlic sauce, it’s fantastic!). I brought this out
I made Polenta with Bolognese sauce for the first time last night and it was delicious! I love all things food (you could tell by my package from Amazon today), if I could make a living cooking, writing about cooking or entertaining I would have the perfect job! I love looking through my old photos, sometimes it is bittersweet. Years gone by, wonderful memories of the kids. One thing we always do is color eggs. I bought this awesome little kit from my sweet friend Karen who sells them on Etsy. The eggs turn out so beautiful! These photos are from a previous year when we used her kit. I can’t find a
