It was a big week here.
In the Fall, we will have two high schoolers!
We celebrated the end of one chapter and look forward to the next one for our oldest son.
So when you think about decorating do you think about the things we are surrounded by?
Nature provides us with so many things that we can use for decorating.
The bonus, they are budget friendly!
Here are a few my of Summer favorites.
I have mad a habit of collecting shells whenever they are available. I have some from Nantucket and Florida. I love strolling along the beach and looking for shells. If I lived near the water I could totally see myself doing that all the time. Don’t live near a beach? I love these sea shells. *affiliate link
We have a row of boxwood our house and I often trim them if I want to make a wreath or us them for table settings.
I share how to make your own fresh boxwood here. You can find out how here.
I pull over and pick them from the side of the road.
There are so many pretty flowering branches and you can cut them and bring them indoors.
We live on lake Erie so the driftwood is plentiful here. I take a few bags with us when we go to the marina and I make everyone gather some. They are great for so many things from decor to crafts.
I love the smooth stones and I started collecting those a few years ago from the beach.
Don’t forget to visit tomorrow and join us for our link party!
