Hello! I hope you had a nice weekend. Ours was good. The little one finished his basketball season undefeated, good stuff! Today I’ve got a sweet idea that you can use in your Spring decor. A darling nest to fill with eggs or whatever your heart desires. I love this because you can make a few of these and put them in bowls, on trays, tucked in a bookshelf or little nook.
You’ll need grapevine twig garland, some filling for the nest. I used natural paper shredding and egg or a bird for your nest.
I cut the grapevine garland down and just formed it into a nest shape. You could wrap in a few places with twine too. I added mine to a pretty plate (another thrift store find) and piled the shredding into the center and then I added my Pottery Barn glitter inspired eggs I made last Spring. I pulled some of the paper filling straight to make it look not so uniform.
Super easy, right? The grapevine garland is great to use under plates on a table setting like I did here. I think I’ll make a couple of these and use around the house. I’ve got week two of my get organized Spring challenge this week, a great crockpot recipe for a busy weeknight and more! Thanks you for coming by!!
