Our family loves Panera Bread and we love their green tea, but it’s pretty pricey for a drink so I thought I would make my own homemade version of Panera’s Green Tea. This is super simple and it tastes just like the Panera’s, although I didn’t make mine quite as sweet!
I used six cups of cold water, bring it to a boil, add six green tea bags, take off heat and let sit until cool. Add four teaspoons of raw or regular honey (you can microwave it if it’s thick) juice of one lemon and fresh mint. Pour over ice and garnish with fresh mint! *You can make the tea a usual hot and just let it cool down as well!
I hope you will try this light, refreshing, healthy drink. It’s perfect for all the hot days ahead. You might like my Homemade Starbucks Passion Iced Tea and Tailgate brunch post. or one of my all time favorites Bobby Flay’s Banana Bread!
