With three kids, I’m always looking for cute gifts that don’t cost a lot to make. Today it’s DIY reusable hand warmers! Someone always needs a little something for a friend and since we live in the snow capital of the world they are useful too! I used the same method to create lavender sachets that I carried in my Etsy shop for years! I just switched out the lavender for rice.
You’ll need: Fabric, sewing machine or needle & thread, rice and picking shears.
I loved this fabric with the little arrows so I ordered enough to make 12 sets of the warmers.
Cut fabric into squares, these are 3″ square. Cut two for each set, sew with the right sides of the fabric facing out.
I created a hand warmer PDF with instructions on warming them that you can attach to your gifts.
