Easiest Go-To Dessert Apple Raspberry Crisp

We have had a lot of family and friends over these last few weeks. I like to have a dessert to serve and this one is SO easy and only a few ingredients.

Easiest Go-To Dessert Apple Raspberry Crisp. It’s a family favorite and it’s lighter than the pie version.

Apple-Raspberry Crisp. Love of Home

I almost always have apples in the house and I buy raspberries every week so unless someone gets to them before me I can make this easily.

Today I used five apples and one pint of raspberries, 1/3 lightly packed brown sugar, 1 cup old fashioned oats, 1/2 stick of unsalted butter at room temp and a scant teaspoon of white sugar.

Ingredients for Apple Raspberry Crips.

Add peeled and sliced apples and washed raspberries to a baking dish. I used a round dish but anything will do!

Sprinkle fruit with the white sugar.

Mix all other ingredients until oats are coated, soften the butter in the microwave for a few seconds if necessary.

Add mixture to top and bake at 350 for about 30-45 minutes. I like my apples soft so I bake for the full 45.

Uncooked Apple Raspberry Crisp.

Check topping is not getting too dark, lower temp of cover loosely if needed.

This disappears every time I make it! We usually serve with ice cream and a little-whipped cream.

If you like it a bit sweeter just add a little more white sugar. I try to keep that done to keep it a little healthier.

You could make more topping too but I try to stick with the 1/2 stick so it’s not too bad for you.

I hope you’ll join Kelly and me on Saturday for our weekly link party.

We have had so many great link ups, there is always something to see!
