So here we are week two. We are taking little steps toward getting organized! Each day take one thing from the list. The goal at the end of the four weeks is that our homes feel a little tidier and more organized so we can enjoy the warmer weather and look to our outside projects! Don’t get discouraged if you don’t get everything done just keep plugging along.

So the clean out a dresser is a good one since we have five that I could clean out. A simple solution to that, have everyone pick an afternoon and go through their dresser . Give each person a basket to fold and organize what they want to keep, a bag to giveaway and a bag to throw away. Holey socks and frayed sweatshirts (Pete) can go in the throwout bag. Donate all your unused items to charity or take to a consignment shop.
Wipe down the kitchen cupboards. I try to do this fairly often. With lighter cabinets all the little spots show. Just a sponge and a bit of soap and water will get most things off.
Clean out the pantry. Throw out anything expired. Make a bag for the food pantry or church and organize what’s left. See my Pantry post.
Clean the bathroom vanity out. I did this not too long ago when I gave our main bath a mini-makeover. Missed that post? You can read it here.
Scrub the shower and/or tub. I love when the shower is clean. It makes the whole bathroom feel fresh. With five people using one shower, it needs a good cleaning often. I love this DIY cleaner.
When I’m doing laundry I throw in a load of the bath and kitchen mats. I love when they first come out and look all fresh and fluffy.
Ok, so that’s it for week two. Hope your checking boxes off your list. Thank you SO much for coming by. See you tomorrow with a perfect weeknight dinner idea!!
